In addition to supporting a select portfolio of clients, I've been working on a number of other ways to support business leaders in science and technology.
The group I set up last year, STEM Advisers Hub, has grown into a vibrant group of business leaders and advisers who specialise in one or more of the STEM sectors, and who come together to offer collaborative support at key stages of company growth. One of the ways we do this is through regular think tank meetings. You can book the next one, on 17th March, here If you want to learn about future events, go to Eventbrite and search #science - we should come up! Or email me firstname.lastname@example.org
I've also partnered with entrepreneurs mentor Mike Foster to run the Oxfordshire Science and Technology Network. The first one for 2020 is already a couple of tickets away from being sold out. The next one will be Tues 28th April . If you know someone who would like to host or sponsor refreshments for this or future meetings - let me know (email@example.com)
Both are great opportunities to meet the right people and gather valuable information about how to set up, run and grow a successful business in the science, technology, engineering, maths, manufacturing and medical sectors - in a collaborative, none-'salesy' environment.
Look out also for helpful videos filmed in partnership with Oxford Brookes University and Sarah McCloughry of Anrah Development Ltd, and the launch of a new 3-step marketing foundation programme specifically designed for scientists and engineers.
