The Engineering Trust’s Apprenticeship Awards
The Engineering Trust’s mission is to unlock the potential of people wanting a career in engineering and to be a catalyst for businesses seeking to fill skill gaps through the employment of apprentices. These annual awards recognise, celebrate and promote the achievements and excellence of the Trust’s apprentices and their employers. For those completing their apprenticeship, it acts as a fitting end to their journey and for others, inspiration to finish and achieve.
EMPLOYER AWARD
CEO’s Su Copeland will be on the judging panel for this award which recognises and celebrates an employer whose commitment, contribution and dedication to their apprenticeship programme has led to a successful outcome for an apprentice(s) completing in 2020. Nominated by the apprentice, they (the apprentice) must evidence how the whole organisation is commitment to apprenticeships, explain how apprenticeships have brought positive benefits to the business, evidence the support they have been given (with focus on aspect beyond the basic requirements) and explain why the employer is a great place to work.
Due to Covid, there will not be a formal award ceremony again this year. The results and successful nominees will be contacted early May and reported in The Manufacturer.
