Marketing Trends 2025 #4 Content

Following on from Tips 1 to 3, number 4 is to review your content generation – and explore other areas. I’m the first to admit that finding time to ‘do content’ can be a challenge. And, even though I enjoy presenting, I hate seeing myself (in images, on video). I’m making a commitment in 2025 to improve! And here are some ideas on areas you could review and improve within your own organisations.

4. Content Diversification and Interactive Formats

Evolve your content strategy to meet changing consumer habits:

  • Try to incorporate more video content, podcasts, and interactive formats. Interaction techniques include quizzes, interactive infographics, sliders, an interactive calculator in an eBook or ‘how-to-guide’, click to influence a video storyline or reveal additional information.
  • Make sure you are focussing your content on the right social media platforms, as revealed through your ideal client profile. Ours is LinkedIn – please follow! 🙂 However don’t forget the power and influence of other platforms to help with your digital reach and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).
  • Experiment more creatively with user-generated and co-created content to promote and boost engagement. What are you already doing? What could be improved? And what have you yet to experiment with? Here are some ideas:
  1. Actively encourage social sharing and comment
  2. Proactively ask for reviews on Google and on your personal LinkedIn page
  3. Interactive webinars
  4. Community forums
  5. Create a company process to make it easy to receive testimonials and case studies
  6. Partner to create a LinkedIn live event?
  • Develop thought leadership content to demonstrate your expertise and establish your profile and brand as industry leaders. The more authentic the better. This is often difficult to do in isolation. Contact me if you’d like help with this.
